Lady Gaga e Kings of Leon favoritos a prémios da MTV

Lady Gaga e os Kings of Leon lideram a lista de nomeados para os MTV Europe Music Awards 2009. A cantora de «Poker Face» e os autores de «Sex On Fire» são candidatos a cinco prémios, cada, e têm mais uma nomeação do que a também norte-americana Beyoncé.

A cerimónia de entrega dos Europe Music Awards irá realizar-se em Berlim, na Alemanha, a 5 de Novembro, e premiará os melhores do mundo da música, segundo as escolhas dos espectadores da MTV.

Este ano, o galardão de Melhor Canção do Ano será disputado entre Beyoncé («Halo»), Black Eyed Peas («I Gotta Feeling»), David Guetta & Kelly Rowland («When Love Takes Over»), King of Leon («Use Somebody») e Lady Gaga («Poker Face»).

Daniel Merriweather, La Roux, Lady GaGa, Pixie Lott e Taylor Swift concorrem ao prémio de Artista Revelação.

Quanto às categorias regionais, os nomeados para Melhor Artista Português são: Buraka Som Sistema, David Fonseca, Os Pontos Negros, X-Wife e Xutos & Pontapés.
